9 Ways

9 Ways to be happy and and make something of your life
1.Be grateful: a grateful person will show kindness and appreciation when resolving matters or simply in their everyday life. This can be of a great advantage because people will then feel more comfortable around you due to the good vibes. No one likes to be friends with thankless, unappreciative people. However if one is courteous and keeps in mind the good deeds others do towards them and shows gratitude then others will be more willing to mind them attention. This quality is essential when trying to make something out of your life. Most time we'll need help when reaching our goals and their will be people who will gladly help us in our times of need. Its important that we remember this and show courtesy to them.
2. Be Smart: a smart person will be able to distinguish wrong and bad. They are wise when choosing their friends and activities and don't do things merely because other people are doing them. They concentrate on school and strive for their goals without being influenced. They'll give their time and dedication for things that actually matter. A smart person will also understand the differences in people and how those people affect them, either for good or bad. They wont get scammed in life nor forget their value. A smart person will also recognize that being humble is an important quality and that one should never try feel more than others, even towards those that bring them pain. A smart person will also try to excel in school and try to gain as much knowledge as possible. They can do so by reading or writing. One should always try to be the best version of themselves and find people who will help us get there.
3. Be involved: being involved means that you are aware of your surroundings and try to participate in as many activities as possible. For example you can be involved at school by joining clubs. There are many clubs that will be of great benefit and keep you aware of whats going on. You can also join sports and stay physically active. Another way you can be involved is by volunteering around your community. This can be done at libraries or groups around the neighborhood. Personally i will apply this new way by joining another club at school and helping out my community by volunteering wherever its necessary.
4. Be Clean: there are many aspects that involve being clean. For instance its important to be physically clean and maintain a good hygiene. This involves taking a shower regularly, brushing your teeth, washing your hands, cleansing and disinfecting oneself, etc...this is of great importance because it shows good manners as well as it makes you presentable and ready for life. Similarly its also important to be mentally clean because this will mean that our actions are clean and this is essential for good relations.
5. Be true: in life its important that we're true to ourselves and to one another. This means that we always maintain who we are and don't merely do things for the pleasure of others. It also means that we should be able to trust one another and if we say something we have to be a man of our word and stay true to it. A person who isn't true to themselves or others will quickly switch up. This can be due to pressure. Many times people will try to make us do things we don't normally do nor want to. The pressure can make us do things that don't necessarily define who we are. In situations like this it's important that we stay authentic and genuine to others and more  importantly ourselves.
6. Be Humble: being humble means that one will show modest and low estimate of ones importance. In other words you low yourself in dignity. This doesn't mean that you aren't supposed to be proud of your achievements, however you shouldn't boast about them nor make yourself superior than others. You should be self-effacing and not claim attention for oneself. This is really important because more blessings will come towards those who don't boast about them nor make others feel less of a person. It can also lead to more friendships. Many people dislike being around those who are cocky and always want to talk about themselves and their achievements. Its better to be reclusive and keep those things for yourself. You'll be more respected and being humble will make you more superior as an individual rather than a person who thinks they're superior.
7. Be Positive: in life we don't always cide whats going to happen. We dont know if our house will burn down nor if we may lose someone we love. We dont have the power to control these things. However we do have the power to either, let it affect us, or maintain a positive attitude. Being positive means that one will try to see the good things in every situation no matter how bleek it may seem. Instead of falling victim to the negativity around us, one will make it better by making others feel better and making sure that there is good vibes.
8. Be Still: Many of us including me might live a hectic life. In times where we are just so stressed out,  i believe that its really important to just take some time and be still. this is not only emotionally comforting but its also physically good for us. Our body needs to rest at times especially as teenagers. Even our parents who sometimes work all day should take a moment and just relax. Clearing our mind can be really useful and beneficial.
9. Be Prayerful: to me being prayerful was always part of my life. My family has always taught me since a small little girl that i should pray before sleeping, when i eat, when i need help, or merely to show gratitude. In a prayer i can say anything. It's like i'm talking to the only person in the entire world that understands me. My family is quite religious and so i do believe in a  god and i do think he listens to our prayers. I believe he knows what we need and he wants us to get to know him except nowadays more and more people drift away from religion.  Many people nowadays dont believe in god and if they do they believe hes indifferent however to understand gods motives and promises you have to take the time and learn about them. I think this is essential for happiness because many of the questions we have are not answered at any school or university for example like, why do we die? or if god exists, then why doesnt he do something regarding all the hate and suffering in the world? What happens when we die? How did jesus save us? How do we benefit from his death?
i think that understanding the answer to these questions could really help us shape our life and i believe that by praying we are taking steps  closer to figuring out our purpose because i don't know if im crazy or wrong but i do not believe we were put in this world or created to simply grow old and die or get sick, suffer an accident and die. there must be more. The things that occur in the world like terrorism and wars and massacres and natural disasters are all really scary and unbelievable. It just shows how humans cannot govern themselves at all and so praying for these situations can really help out. I do believe god listens to all our prayers and many might think.,"If  he listens to our prayers then why are bad things still happening to me" but people dont understand is that god will only listen to those who listen to him. You cant expect to recieve something you yourself dont give.
Final Reflection: in this blog i was able to identify many good ways in which i can have a productive life and be a good citizen. These 9 ways are not only for me to follow but they're also for me to share them and teach them to others. I think that if we all try our best to be the greatest version of ourselves then we will have a much happier life and the world  will slightly be a better place because the truth is, we cant change the world nor the choices some people make, but we can improve ourselves and if we just all concentrated on what we do and on our role in humanity, then we would be doing the most and the more and more people reflect on themselves the more and more stable and safe our world could be. This is why i would try to follow these 9 ways.
